While administrators create and modify Account Notes, users essentially search for and view Account Notes.
Users have two options for search for Account Notes on the Search tab/pane.
For users of subaccounts that contain the Account Notes feature, the Account Notes search field appears twice on the Search tab/pane. The first field is displayed with a checkbox under the Keywords search feature. If this Account Notes checkbox is checked, then the checkboxes for Titles, Abstracts, and All Document Text are disabled, and only the text that includes the subject and body of Account Notes is searched.
Users enter a keyword(s) in the Keyword(s) or Text field, check Account Notes, and then click Search. The search results list documents that contain Account Notes with your keyword in the subject or body of the note.
The second Account Notes is the Account Notes Filter By checkbox. When checked, the Filter By Account Notes checkbox, located immediately below the My Subscription checkbox, returns results only for documents that contain an Account Note.
Users view Account Notes on the Search Results, View Document, Document Detail, and Watch List pages.
On the Search Results and Watch List pages, the Account Note is displayed below the document information.
