If you are a user of a subaccount that contains the Account Notes feature, you may view Account Notes that have been added to documents by an administrator.
When you view the note on a Watch List, the note appears immediately
below the document information it pertains to. A noticeable icon is displayed at the beginning of the note followed by the
subject of the note. When you move the mouse over the icon, a tip is displayed
that states, "Document Note: Please read prior to using this document."
A Note (View) link follows the
subject. When you click this link, you can view the entire note.
The Note (Edit) link at the right is displayed for administrators only. All users on the subaccount can view the note, but only administrators can edit or delete it. For documents on the Watch List that do not have an associated Account Note, administrators will see a Note (Add) link to the right.
When you view the document by clicking the View
icon or the Details
link, the subject of the note is displayed above the Copyright agreement/PDF
document. An icon
begins the note. When you mouse over
the icon, the following tip is displayed: "Document Note: Please
read prior to using this document." The Note
(View) link is displayed to the right of the subject. Administrators
will see a Note (Edit) link or
a Note (Add) link if a note has
not yet been added.
When you delete a document that includes an Account Note from a Watch List, the Account Note will not be deleted—you will see it with the document in the Search Results and on the View Document and Document Details pages.
However, if an administrator deletes an Account Note from a document on a Watch List, the Account Note will be deleted from the document in all instances, so you will not see the Account Note when you view the document on the Search Results, View Document, or Document Details pages.
