List Alerts are email notifications that help you stay on top of regulatory and contract compliance issues by letting you know when documents on your Watch Lists or Favorites list have been updated in the IHS Standards Expert database.
Alert notices display on the personal profile section of the main search screen and on the Alerts tab.
Important Note: In order to receive alerts, you must first be registered as an individual user. This allows the system to keep track of your document lists.
To modify an existing email address or add an email address for alerts:
Go to a the Watch Lists tab.
Click on List Alert Settings.
To add an email addresses for registered individuals that you want to receive alerts, enter his or her name in the New Email Address field, and then click the Add Email button.
If you want to delete or update an email address in the list, click Delete in the Action column for the address you want to delete. The system will prompt you with "Are you sure you want to delete <[email protected]> from the list?" Click OK to delete, or Cancel to cancel the delete request.
If you want to update an email address, click the Update link in the Action column.
Enter the new email address in the name field on the Update Email Address dialog box. The system will prompt you with a dialog box where you can edit the email address. Make your changes, and then click the Update button.
